Goal Meetings / CAPPS (Guidance)Each student in the school is encouraged to be involved in defining immediate and long term goals. Once a week, the staff and students meet to discuss the details of how each individual can meet his/her long term goals. Peer group work is used with the students in clarifying values and encouraging active decision making. Topics addressed during the year may include: self-esteem, assertiveness, problem solving strategies, sex education, life skills, and job readiness.
Breakfast, Snacks and LunchOur doors open at 8:15 am for students interested in the BREAKFAST CLUB, where a good assortment of cereal, toast, fruits, juices, milk and hot chocolate is available. Nutritional snacks are provided mid-morning and a full lunch is offered every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
