New Westminster YERC

New Westminster Youth Employment Resource Centre is an employment and life skills program for unemployed or underemployed youth in New Westminster and surrounding areas. The ultimate goal of the program is long-term attachment to the labour market. The short-term goal is to address those barriers standing in the way.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
• Youth aged 15 to 30 years
• Are legally entitled to work in Canada
• Unemployed or underemployed (working less than 20 hours a week)
• Have an English level sufficient to understand the program
