Program General Information

Working with Youth to Complete Court Ordered Community Service Hours

Community organizations provide meaningful opportunities for integration and transformation. These projects enable youth to work in partnership with community members. The experiences, contacts and realtionships provide learning opportunities for youth where they positively engage with your community.

Community Work Service is about:

AccountabilityAllowing young people the opportunity to make amends for the harm done, not as a punishment.

Integration:  It creates and maintains a positive working relationship with other community members while carrying out service that is valued by victims and / or the community.

Transformation: It helps young offenders to see themselves as valuable, contributing members of our community, and to be viewed as people who can make a positive contribution.
