What is the Transition for Youth to Adulthood Program?
| The Transition for Youth to Adulthood Program provides outreach counselling, information, groups, and after hours support to assist youth in developing the life skills necessary to make successful transitions to living independently. The program works with youth referred by MCFD, providing individual outreach support and councelling, group work/peer support, relationship councelling, and increasing community connectedness to help in developing a network of supports in the community. |
| Objective: To assist youth in completeing the practical, day-to-day tasks of self sufficiency and to help youth gain more problem solving skills. |
