The S.E.Y. (Stop Exploiting Youth) Program supports youth to exit a situation or lifestyle in which they are being sexually exploited.

 Program Features

 

The SEY Program provides:
  • Emergency Case Management
  • Flexible Hours of Operation
  • Creative, Intensive and Individualized Support to Youth
  • Connections to Supportive Community, Family and Services
  • Safe Bed Support
  • Consultation with Community Agencies Regarding the Needs of Sexually Exploited Youth
SEY Workers arrange to meet with youth in their communities.
 
Length of Service:

The length of service is based on participant needs.  It can range from one to six months with the possibility for an extension.


Hours are flexible to accommodate the needs of the youth.
 
Who is Eligible?
 
SEY provides services to male and female youth:
  • Aged 13 to 18
  • Who are living or spending time in Surrey, Cloverdale, Langley, Delta or White Rock.
  • Who are disconnected from mainstream services and/or their families
  • For whom sufficient information is available to support a belief that the youth is being sexually exploited.
Fees For Service
There are no fees for this program

A helping service professional may make a referral to the Pacific Community Resources’ SEY Program by completing and submitting a referral form (see link below).
Or you can download the forms directly:
A youth may self-refer by contacting one of the Surrey Youth Resource Centres and asking to speak with the Youth Programming Coordinator.
