Eagle High |
|
Eagle High, an off site component of the Broadway Youth Resource Centre, is a special education/counselling program for 30 high needs grade 8 to 10 students who require a greater level of support than regular high school or other alternate programs offer. The program integrates an academic component with individual and group counselling, recreation, and cultural activities. |

A Vancouver Ministry For Children and Family Development Social Worker or a Probation Officer can make a referral to the program. Referral Forms are available at: Local Ministry For Children and Family Development offices Or
Once a referral has been made and a position is available in the school we will schedule a meeting and tour of the school. The tour will involve the prospective student, Social Worker, a parent or caregiver and one of our Eagle High Counsellors or Teachers. Individual learning priorities are discussed and if the student chooses to attend Eagle High a contract for participation and attendance is signed.
